Evidence of Learning

So I’m taking a Skinny-mini Photoshop ecourse by Kim Klassen…and having a lot of fun. For homework today I had to do a couple of photos and post them on my blog. Here they are. Nothing radical…but I’m learning!

The original, and then what I did to them:

  1. I like the colors on both ‘afters’, especially the second. (The first is very subtle but it’s slightly darker too…I think?)
And although there are aspects I like of both originals, I really like what the crops did for both.

  2. Both the originals and the edits are so beautiful. I don’t think I’ll ever touch a camera again….too many people around me actually know how to take a picture. 🙂 Kudos to you for taking a course.

    Miss you, Sage!

    1. Okay, Joanna…I’ll let you in on a little secret…..

It’s ALL about Tera’s camera and lens. I promise. You could do this or even better with her camera.

You should come visit and we’ll prove that together.

      Miss you too! ❤

  3. I like the edited versions too. 🙂 They just look more artistic. 🙂 I’m taking the skinny mini course too, so if anyone wants to see one of my edits they can check out my blogpost at http://www.lamariephotography.com. I’m having fun with the course, but I keep trying to get ahead of things. 🙂 I was already putting textures on a photo, but I’ll wait to post that one. 🙂

  4. I love these Sage! I can’t wait to finally start the lessons…I’m a wee bit behind!!! lol But one reason (besides a virus on my laptop) I haven’t begun them yet is I had a very important post to write for my Perfect Puddles blog…and within that post I nominated you for “The Versatile Blogger” award. I hope you accept it! Keep up the great work!!

  5. were the images of the white flowers taken north of Oklahoma? I saw similar flowers growing in abundance in northern climates.
